Triple J Birthday Bash!

On January 16, 2012, a special event occurred at the Rubix Hollywood! Joey Luthman, Jolie Vanier, and Justin Tinucci celebrated their birthdays, they were all born on the same day! Joey turned 15, Jolie turned 14, and Justin turned 13, so it became known as the Triple J birthday Bash! There was a red carpet, press, Blake Michael as the DJ, great food from Chik-Fil-A and some great games!

He will be performing with his band, The Band of Thieves, to help raise money for Seacoast Local’s H(EAT) Campaign. Skyler will be donating 100% of the proceeds.

What is (H)EAT?

Is a local charity that helps to feed over thousands of people locally in Seacoast or worldwide. As stated in their slogan “Ten Thousand Meals, Ten Thousand Gallons.” All the money they make helps feed a country and more! So, check their site here and find out how you can help!

Season Premiere back for the Holidays!

After staying quiet for a few months, The Season Premiere is back just in time for the holidays! They are gifting you, their fans! with a, Christmas song entitled “Whenever It Snows.” The song was released on iTunes December 13th as the band kicks off their “12 Days of The Season Premiere” giveaway contest. Who are they?

The Season Premiere is a Phoenix, Arizona rock, pop and punk band known for their powerful songs and staging dynamic, high energy live shows!

Where have we seen them?

The band has performed at venues across the West Coast, including The Whiskey, The Knitting Factory, The Nile and more!

What are they doing?

The band recently put out a new EP, For “All The Lovers”, which was released digitally on August 23rd. For All The Lovers was produced by Curtis Douglas (The Maine, blessthefall, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, This Century) in Scottsdale, AZ this past spring and tells the tale of a simple concept: love. When you take a listen to the new EP, you will be able to tell their growth from their previous songs.

Many know him and most adore him but, do you ?

Meet IWXO (I’m With Love), former member of Pop Rock band Allstar Weekend and new solo artist Nathan Darmody. Darmody, is definitely someone to look out for in 2012. This 20-year-old hipster is what many would call a triple threat. From slappin’ the bass, to strumming the acoustic, to creating beautiful melodies and belting out amazing lyrics this gentlemen has all the ladies swooning including, Moms!

If you have seen previous videos you would have enjoyed the simplistic and sweet sound of a young man and his guitar pouring his soul out for everyone to hear.

In this video he performs a song he wrote called “I Won’t Play With It” while relaxing in the always beautiful Los Angeles sun. If you enjoyed the upbeat and chilled sound of “I Won’t Play With It” you will not have to wait much longer.

Darmody, announced on twitter that a new EP is soon to be released showing off the new sound and creativity this month!

Introducing: My Girl Friday!

With a strong and dedicated fan base, an anticipated EP coming out December 27, 2011, Junkies introduce to you, “My Girl Friday.”Their second single off their album “American Kids”, called: “Down By The Water was released on November 21, 2011.

After a successful fall tour with The Summer Set and The Downtown Fiction, My Girl Friday has built even more of a stronger and passionate fanbase across the United States. It goes as far as having “#downbythewater” trend second on the worldwide charts on Twitter.

My Girl Friday is a five piece alternative band “salted with rock and peppered with country” from Phoenix, Arizona. Meet Diamante

Have you ever been to a really fun party, hanging out with your friends, popping potato chips in your mouth, or talking about that cute boy in the pool? But, you know something is missing.That is where, Diamante Bovelli comes in!

Who is she?
An extremely talented and up beat 15-year-old pop singer/songwriter. Diamante, is known for her exciting and fun sounds off her self-titled album “Diamante”. Out of all the five songs, I must say Spinnin Around would be the most popular because of its great lyrics and acoustic sound. It’s the type of song that would make everyone dance and let loose, whether it’s at a party, in their home, or even at school during a chemistry midterm. This artists’ sound is definitely worth a listen, when you need some fun times!

Diamante – Impossible

Diamante, has recently released a new single called: “Impossible”. The infectious beat and funky vibe definitely makes this one of her best Rock n’ Roll songs she has performed, thus far. Each verse leaves you yearning for more of what happens next, as Diamante tells a story about a confusing crush. Of course, many of you have been through similar situations, so it is also a great song to connect too. As if that isn’t enough to make you open your iTunes window and buy her songs here, it was also nominated by the Independent Music Awards for Best Song of the Year. This young starlet is one of the amazing pop artist with a bright future ahead.

How many of you dread waking up early in the morning and want to sleep in? *raises hand*

Well, This fall you will not want to sleep in! Why? Because, you can get a Wake Up Call from, none other than, the members of Mindless Behavior themselves! That’s right, no alarms or mom’s yelling, just the voices of Mindless Behavior!

The Get Schooled Foundation started this challenge to ask students to step up and participate in one of the biggest challenges of the year, the Get Schooled Attendance Challenge! The get schooled team and celebrities want to promote how important it is to attend classes each day towards a better future. From now through the entire school year there will be a set schedule of when the calls will be made to your entire school! So, be sure to sign up and help promote the importance of school attendance!
